Hi, I’m Cole Barker, the owner and operator of Barker's Junk Removal & Hauling. 

Before starting a local junk removal company in Roanoke, I worked long hours as a lead welder and supervisor at New Millennium Building System for years. While it enabled me to provide for my family, I was missing precious time with them and could not watch my 4 children grow. I knew there had to be a better way. 


I wanted a better balance between work and life and began searching for opportunities that provided more autonomy and control over my time while being able to support my family. 


Contractors and neighbors I knew complained about the high prices charged by local dumpster rental companies. After researching, I knew I could provide full-service solutions for only $100-$150 more than renting a dumpster, so I did. 


I started my junk removal journey with a mission to provide extremely affordable services and exceed expectations for quality, speed, and reliability while offering a customer experience that’s second to none.

    Cole Barker scheduled junk pick-up from my home in a timely manner. He called to ask if he could come earlier than scheduled and then called again when 10 minutes away. He and crew quickly and efficiently removed my junk and charged me less than I anticipated bc it was a small load. I highly recommend this company and Cole for his professionalism and courtesy.
